About Us

Echoes of Grace Orphanage Centre is a non-governmental, non-profit organization which was established since 16th August 2009 by a gospel Evangelist & Philanthropist Evang. Abel Idakwoji Awodi. Out of the desire to provide shelter, succor, clothing, emotional care and hope for a better future for the motherless, abandoned, underprivileged, vulnerable and the poorest of the poor children in our society.

Our work in the shelter facilities focuses on giving less-privileged children the opportunity to activate their skills and pursue their dreams with the assurance of protection against abuse.

Because We Care

We embarked on a lot of community projects just to ensure average orphan and less privileged people get a better life. The projects include but not limited to providing befitting housing for the homeless, clothing, education, agriculture, social services and evangelism.

You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men. “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lamp-stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house – Matthew 5:13-16

The Founder

Moved by the urge to impact lives positively and change the stories of so many helpless and underprivileged people, a Philanthropist, gospel Evangelist, Mentor, Guardian and Councillor went ahead and founded Echoes of grace on August 2009.
